The “Anchor of Hope” is a bronze statue set in marble that symbolizes the indomitability and permanence of hope. This anchor is a reminder that hope is always the last to leave the human heart, no matter how difficult the circumstances. The figure of a woman clinging to an anchor embodies fragility, but also the strength with which each of us clings to our dreams and ideals. The statue is dedicated to all those who draw strength from hope and find solace in it when facing life’s storms. It is a tribute to unyielding faith in a better tomorrow and overcoming obstacles.

Jana Brisudová

Jana Brisudová, born in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a renowned sculptor specializing in bronze work. She trained under the guidance of the esteemed Slovak master Tibor Bártfay, who helped her develop a unique style that combines mythological symbolism with modern aesthetics. In addition to sculpture, Jana is also involved in mural painting and trompe l’oeil. She is active on both the domestic and international art scenes, working from her studio in Bratislava.
