Art Palace Prague offers rental of private vault boxes located in the historic building of a former bank in the very heart of Prague.
These are far more than ordinary deposit boxes. Our spacious, high-capacity vault cabinets are designed for the secure long-term storage of documents, collections, investment assets, and artworks.
The vault premises are part of the original bank security infrastructure and operate on the principle of a multi-level mechanical security system, completely independent of electronic technologies.

Each vault box includes basic vault insurance at CZK 80 per month excluding VAT. However, this insurance does not cover the individual value of the stored contents, as the contents are not registered by the operator. Clients may arrange their own additional insurance for stored items based on their actual value. Upon request, we can recommend a partner provider.
It is not permitted to store weapons, explosives, flammable materials, perishable substances, illegal items, or any content whose possession or storage is in violation of legal regulations. The client is responsible for ensuring that stored items comply with the contract and applicable legislation.
Access to the vault area is granted only to authorised persons after identity verification. Once inside the secured area, the client can handle their vault box discreetly and without the presence of other clients. The specific access protocol is governed by the operating rules and the contract.
Yes, another authorised person may also have access, provided they are listed in advance in the contract documentation and have undergone identification according to the operator's rules. Without prior approval, it is not possible for another person to use the vault box.
In the event of a lost key, you must contact us immediately. For security reasons, access to the box may be temporarily restricted until the situation is resolved. Any costs associated with resolving the key loss are governed by the contract and the current price list.

Standard access to vault boxes is available by reservation during operating hours of 10:00–19:00. Visits outside regular operating hours are possible by prior arrangement and are subject to the current price list.
The rental price for a vault box is CZK 5,000 per month excluding VAT. Basic vault insurance of CZK 80 per month excluding VAT is also charged, for a total of CZK 5,080 per month excluding VAT.
Rental can be paid quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. The minimum rental period is 3 months. With annual payment, the client receives 1 month of rental free of charge.
