About artwork:

“Lucky” is a bronze statue of a fish that refers to the well-known fairy tale about a goldfish and three wishes. The statue invites you to interact – whether you kiss it or caress it, it is supposed to symbolically fulfill three wishes. This artifact brings a piece of fantasy into the space and reminds that even adults can believe for a while in the fulfillment of their dreams. Lucky is not only an art object, but also a metaphor for the desires and hopes we carry in our hearts.

Jana Brisudová

Jana Brisudová, born in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a renowned sculptor specializing in bronze work. She trained under the guidance of the esteemed Slovak master Tibor Bártfay, who helped her develop a unique style that combines mythological symbolism with modern aesthetics. In addition to sculpture, Jana is also involved in mural painting and trompe l’oeil. She is active on both the domestic and international art scenes, working from her studio in Bratislava.
