The “Hedon” statue is a bronze sculpture celebrating hedonism and the enjoyment of the finer things in life. On one side, it depicts a beautiful, harmonious face that represents a person in a moment of enjoyment and joy. On the other hand, however, it has a crooked face, symbolizing the transformations and opposites that a hedonistic lifestyle brings. With a glass of wine in hand, the sculpture points to how pleasure and intoxication can change us and reveal our hidden sides. It is a work full of dynamics that reflects the complexity of human nature and our desire for intense experiences.

Jana Brisudová

Jana Brisudová, born in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a renowned sculptor specializing in bronze work. She trained under the guidance of the esteemed Slovak master Tibor Bártfay, who helped her develop a unique style that combines mythological symbolism with modern aesthetics. In addition to sculpture, Jana is also involved in mural painting and trompe l’oeil. She is active on both the domestic and international art scenes, working from her studio in Bratislava.
