Serafedino – The Last Greeting from Paris
Art Palace Prague presents a unique exhibition titled Last Greetings from Paris, which views an opulent selection of the master’s Serafedino rich artwork.
Serafedino’s paintings, admired throughout the European art scene for many years, stand out mainly due to their characteristic color palette and dynamic work with a spatula, which is used to layer individual shades of color on the canvas.
In his paintings, Serafedino combines elements of modern expressionism and figurative motifs. The recurring themes in his artwork include city streets, musicians, and dancers, whose movements he tries to capture in rhythmical sequences.
For almost 40 years, Serafedino created his artworks in the Montmartre district of Paris, where he took inspiration from the cosmopolitan atmosphere, streets full of artists of all kinds, and the energy of well-known cabarets. However, little by little, he became enchanted by the temperament of the southern regions and his passion for Spanish culture, which was later reflected in his dynamic compositions and original contrasts of color.
Last Greetings from Paris offers a glimpse into artwork in which Parisian elegance meets the powerful energy of Spain.
Wallow in the poetic corners of Montmartre or the sun-drenched Spanish coast and indulge yourself in the creative journey of the master Serafedino in Art Palace Prague.
