Volodymyr Kolesnykov was born in 1977 in Poltava, Ukraine, into a family of artists, which shaped his relationship with art from childhood. He studied at the Kharkiv State Art School and later at the Lviv Academy of Arts, where he developed a deep interest in monumental painting. His artistic growth continued at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, where he focused on sacred painting and symbolism under the guidance of Professor Mykola Storozhenko. His works are distinguished by bold colors, intricate compositions, and fine details that create a dynamic sense of depth, seamlessly connecting the human figure with nature and symbolism.
