Annemarie Petri, born in 1965 in The Hague, Netherlands, is a versatile artist working in painting, sculpture, and graphic arts. She studied at the Vrije Academie in The Hague (1984–1989). Her works have been exhibited in museums and galleries both in the Netherlands and abroad. With her technical skills, she creates a picturesque and melancholic world that is uniquely her own.
