Serafedino
Serafedino
Serafedino was born in 1952 in the former Yugoslavia. Today, he is a well-known painter whose paintings blend Mediterranean vibrancy, Parisian elegance, and an unconditional joy of life. During his travels across Europe, which included visits to Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands, he eventually settled in 1975 in the iconic Montmartre in Paris. In this very place, in the rich artistic atmosphere, he found inspiration and developed the distinctive style that made him famous on the international art scene. His paintings are full of vivid colors, movement, and profound emotions. His paintings capture musical and dance scenes, the everyday life of Montmartre, and abstract compositions. He draws inspiration from great artists such as Chaim Soutine and Henri Matisse. However, Serafedino’s style remains deeply personal, emphasizing life, freedom, and joy. In 2024, Serafedino decided to end one significant chapter of his life in Montmartre and move to the sunlit coasts of Spain. This change has brought new inspiration, which he now projects into his work, enriched by the experiences from this new environment. Whether creating art on the busy Place du Tertre or under the Spanish sun, his paintings continue to celebrate life, color, and emotion that resonate with audiences worldwide.
