Laïna Hadengue
Laïna Hadengue was born on June 26, 1962, in Valence, where she grew up in an artistic environment. She began her artistic career at the age of 15. Gradually, she transitioned from figurative painting to abstract compositions using plexiglass, becoming a pioneer of this medium in New York. She is also the creator of the acclaimed art video “Conscience effet mère.” After the death of her brother in 2013, she returned to figurative painting with her collection “My Unusual Portraits,” which was showcased at the Venice Biennale in 2017.
